I started the business in 2000 after leaving as a partner of a large 2nd tier Chartered Accountancy firm.  My vision was  to create a boutique firm where accountants can closely interact with clients and truly be part of their business. Over the years I have assembled a group of talented individuals who collectively love what they do and are driven to help clients in their business to achieve the lifestyle they want.  We work with the best  technology and have the awesome backup from our support team.

 

Away from the office you will find me down at the park either coaching football or being a spectator at my children's sporting activities. 

Therese has been a valued member of the firm since joining us in October, 2012. Her  role is split between helping clients manage and understand the rules, regulations, possibilities associated with managing their Self-Managed Superannuation Fund as well as assisting  business clients with their financial and income tax obligations.  "I believe it is important to provide my clients with the information and tools required to help them streamline their processes and reduce their ‘hands on’ obligations as much as possible."

"I love dealing with people – creating a rapport with my clients and learning what will best work for them. I also enjoy mentoring and training new staff members and watching them evolve over time."

 

In her private time Therese enjoys reading! ' I would be lost if I couldn’t read"  and also enjoy snow skiing, travelling, walking, music and going to the theatre (ballets especially).

Daniel joined the firm as  senior accountant in March 2015.  Daniel works directly with businesses in all types of different structures and industries, assisting with their taxation and financial objectives.

Outside of work Daniel enjoys spending some quality time with his young family, cooking, as well as cycling, playing golf and fishing when time permits it.

Helen is a Chartered Accountant providing business and tax compliance advice as well as traditional accounting services to a wide range of Private Companies, Partnerships, Trusts and High Net Worth Individuals.

Away from the office Helen enjoys Hip-Hop dancing and socialising with friends in Brisbane and Cairns.

Barbara joined the firm in May 2016 to assist clients with their day-to-day by data processing, reconciliation of accounts, processing of payroll & superannuation obligations and lodgment of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).  The accounting industry is evolving with the use of online and cloud based technologies to enable real-time reporting and a more streamlined service for clients. "I am excited to be working with products like Xero and its add-ons to achieve this goal".

In her private time Barbara enjoys spending time with friends and family, cooking and weekends away.

Heather has been a permanent part-time ASIC specialist with the firm for over 13 years, and brings her bright and friendly personality to our team and our clients.  In her current role as Corporate Services Manager,  Heather ensures that all our corporate clients comply with the reporting obligations as required by the Australian Investment and Securities Commission. Heather enjoys a work-life balance with her part-time hours which the firm is very proud to support.

 

Away from the office Heather loves hiking, mountain bike riding and meditating to clear the mind and soul.

Charmaine  is the friendly voice that greets you when you call the firm. She is focused to  help make things easier for clients and to ease the load for her fellow employees.
